	While you check out the great kids stuff in the store, the buyer will review your items.
	The buyer will select and make an offer on the items that meet current style, safety and condition standards, as well as store's current stock levels.
	Once you accept the offer, you’ll be on your way with some extra money, some great new stuff for your kids, or both!

At Once Upon A Child you'll find a huge selection of gently used kids clothing, toys, furniture and equipment at up to 70% off retail! We're not your typical secondhand store. The items that we buy and sell are next to new, good quality, clean and have been checked for safety standards.

Selling Tips

In order for us to offer the latest and greatest in styles at value prices, clothing and accessories must be purchased within the last five years.
Equipment and toys must meet current safety standards and include all parts. Not sure if your item qualifies? Bring it in and we’ll check it out!

Be sure your apparel items are freshly laundered and in good condition – no stains, fading, or excessive wear.
Clean toys and equipment sell best.
It is most efficient for us to review items folded neatly in a box, bin or tote. Please, no hangers or garbage bags.
It’s always a good idea to call us to find out about what we buy.

We buy all day everyday. We do recommend that you arrive approximately 1 hour prior to closing to ensure that your buy is completed the same day.

There is no appointment necessary and we pay you on-the-spot for the items we would like to purchase.

We operate on a first-come / first-serve basis, but may take smaller buys or buys with large equipment out of order to maximize space.

We'll quote you a "wait time" for how long it will take us to process your items.

Feel free to stay and shop our great selection or return to our store one hour prior to close to review your quote.

You always have the option to pass on our offer if you'd prefer to keep your items.

Clothing needs to be freshly laundered; neatly folded in a box, bin or basket; have working fasteners; and be free of rips, stains, or excessive wear.

Toys & Equipment need to come in clean, have all of their parts and be in good working condition.

Items cannot be on a recall list and must be up to current safety standards.

Due to safety standards, Once Upon A Child cannot buy used car seats or cribs manufactured before January, 2011.

Bassinets, changing tables, swings, toddler beds etc. need to be assembled in store to verify all parts are present.

Items may be brought in already assembled.
